I have appreciated the measure of enthusiasm that my friends and family have given. Some have chosen not to express their opinions on the blog but the range from envy to insanity. Stan, before I can support you I must know a few things. Have you riden before, and how long ago? Can you see at night? If you can find a helmet to fit that head, do you plan on wearing it each , and every time you ride? Do you think your beautiful wife, Sherry will pack up and leave if you buy one? Do you consider body art (tatoo's, piercing's, do dee rags, spikes.........) as required accessory's with this purchase?
If you've never riden. I would say take a class, and log many hours on the back roads before you commute on it. Although you work hours where traffic isn't a problem. The only problem would be visibility. I don't want to give you my blessing if it will cause Sherry grief. But I would trust you and your judgement as much as anyone. I know you will pray for the right answer. Also, God told me to tell you to look at the BMW's before you buy one. (website) They are about the same price, and in some cases cheaper.
If I go to colorado, so is my bike.

Considering the state of the economy you have to buy AMERICAN! Go Harley Davidson. Get a color that stands out, you want all those other drivers to see you coming. Perhaps something in neon orange?
